What is Smart Touch Filtering™? Our filtering process attempts to identify that the consumer filling out an online qualification form is who he or she indicates they are. During our filtering process, we eliminate invalid names (i.e., "John Doe" and "Jane Doe") and invalid addresses. In addition, we run the leads through multiple systems to cross check names, home addresses and phone numbers.
Are your leads prequalified? No, our leads are filtered via the Smart Touch Filtering™ process outlined in question one. The filtering process allows us to screen out leads that do not have accurate phone numbers, names, and/or email addresses

How many leads will close? We do not know how many leads will close. We do not guarantee any close rate. In some cases, we do offer a guarantee program. Click here for more information on that program. We do have statistical data that reflects that internet consumers are viable real estate leads. In 2004, we commissioned a study by a third party, Real IQ. They did a study of our leads that we first received in the second and third quarters of 2004. For those leads, Real IQ determined that approximately one in four did some real estate transaction. These consumers did not necessarily close their transactions with the agent on the RealEstate.com agent network. In addition, except for our CMA leads, our leads go to up to three agents.
What is your Agent SUCCESS Program? The Agent SUCCESS Program consists of tools that allow you to build your business through the use of RealEstate.com leads. Such tools include monthly conference calls, local agent appreciation events in your area, agent coaching, vendor discounts, agent websites, and much more. What is Agent Consulting? Consulting is within the Agent SUCCESS Program and allows for every agent to have a personal coach. Aside from coaching agents on how to work internet leads, business coaching is also included in your RealEstate.com Agent Network Subscription.
How do you distribute your leads to agents? Lead distribution is based on your zip code coverage area. As leads come in, we match them to agents who cover the areas that the consumer is interested in buying or selling. To ensure that the leads are distributed evenly among the matched agents, we rotate the agents in a round robin fashion each time a new lead is generated.
Why do you allow up to three agents to take leads? Simple, competition breeds success. You are in constant competition with other agents and you want to show that your level of service is superior to theirs. We give the consumers a choice of agent, but you can stand out by calling your leads immediately and being there for them when they need you.
Do you have any exclusive leads? Yes, our Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) leads are exclusive to the first agent that accepts them.
Do the leads you get come from RealEstate.com? Many of our leads do come directly from RealEstate.com, but not all of them. The RealEstate.com Agent Network is exposed to many affiliate websites which are RealEstate.com branded and co-branded and allow for greater local search traffic. If you go to RealEstate.com you will see that it offers many services for the consumer. We want our leads to only be focused on what you as a real estate agent can provide, therefore, we build other sites to drive lead volume.
Is it true that I can accept 10 leads per month? You can accept up to 10 leads per month. We cannot guarantee that you will have 10 leads to choose from each month due to market conditions and other elements. Many of our most successful agents only take five to six leads per month in order to give those leads the first class treatment.
Am I entering into a contract when I join RealEstate.com? When you join the RealEstate.com Agent Network on the subscription plan you are obligated to the terms of the contract that you enter into. If you choose the 12 month plan or the 6 month plan, you are obligated to pay the price determined each month for the duration of the contract.
If I decide to cancel, will there be a fee? If you decide to leave prior to the end of your contract being completed you will be assessed a fee for the remainder of the contract obligation. We do encourage our agents to be proactive in working the leads they receive from RealEstate.com in order to see a great return on their investment.
How often will I be charged? The subscription is monthly and you pay for your month in advance. All forms of payment are accepted except for a manual check.
